Nepal houses a large number of sacred Buddhist pilgrimage sites and heritage centers. So Nepal is naturally a center of world interest of the Buddhists of the world and subject of pride and honor for all Buddhist Community of the world.
The presence of majestic Lumbini is situated at the foothills of the Himalayas in modern Nepal. In the Buddha's time, Lumbini was a beautiful garden full of green and shady Sal trees (Shorea). The garden and its tranquil environs were owned by both the Shakyas and Kolias clans. King Suddhodana, father of Gautama Buddha was of the Shakya dynasty belonging to the Kshatriya or the warrior caste.
Maya Devi, his mother, gave birth to the child on her way to her parent's home in Devadaha while taking rest in Lumbini under a sal tree in the month of May in the year 642 B.C. The beauty of Lumbini is described in Pali and Sanskrit literature. Maya Devi it is said was spellbound to see the natural grandeur of Lumbini. While she was standing, she felt labor pains and catching hold of a drooping branch of a Sal tree, the baby, the future Buddha, was born.
Swoyambhu Stupa, Boudha Nath Stupa along with Charumati Stupa, Jamacho Stupa, Vajrayogini Temple, Mahaboudha Monastery and several small and big chaityas and Buddhist monuments, viharas and temples of ancient times in Nepal in abundance have turned Nepal into a distinct world Buddhist pilgrimage center of great archeological and historical value and religious significance.

Suggested Itinerary:
Day 1: Kathmandu Arrival:
Upon arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu. A traditional warm welcome by our airport representative then transfer to Hotel then briefing about the tours and remaining time leisure. Stay overnight at Hotel on B.B basis.
Day 2: Kathmandu City Sightseeing:
We start our pilgrimage tour with a visit to Swoyambhunath Stupa one of the most important centers of Buddhist learning in Nepal. The stupa is located on top of a hill overlooking Kathmandu valley. From here we visit Bodhnath stupa, possibly the largest stupa in the world and the center of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. Stay overnight at Hotel on B.B basis.
Day 3: Kathmandu-Bhairahawa-Lumbini:
We take the flight to the southern border city of Bhairahawa. Here we'll be met by our guides and driven 21 km (13 miles) to the west to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. We then take our pilgrimage tour of Lumbini Gardens where Lord Buddha was born. Temple of Maya Devi, Buddha''s mother depicting the nativity scene of Buddha and the Ashoka Pillar, built by the Mauryan Emperor Ashoka to mark his pilgrimage to Lumbini in 240 BC are the highlights here. Stay overnight at Hotel on B.B basis.
Day 4: Lumbini - Tilaurakot – Lumbini:
Today we take an excursion to Tilaurakot (27 km or 17 miles) to the west, the ancient capital of Kapilavastu, the kingdom of the Sakya dynasty in which family Lord Buddha was born. The ruin of a palace is found here which clearly shows the gate through which Lord Buddha walked out of his palace renouncing all worldly possessions in the quest for Nirvana. We return to Lumbini/Bhairahawa after the full-day excursion and spend the night hotel in Lumbini. Stay overnight at Hotel on B.B basis.
Day 5: Lumbini – Kathmandu:
We drive to Bhairahawa after breakfast and catch the flight back to Kathmandu. We have the rest of the day free for shopping and walking around the interesting streets of Kathmandu. In the evening enjoy with farewell dinner and cultural program. Stay overnight at Hotel on B.B basis.
Day 6: Kathmandu Departure:
You will be free until our transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
